They walk outside towards his Suburban. He opens the door for her. “Call all the women right now and tell them you’re back with your girlfriend!” she says.
“Samantha they don’t care if we’re back together they will wait in the wings. Come here,” says Jacob.
“No Jacob! Call!” she says with a straight face.
So he does.
“Put her on speaker,” demands Samantha.
“Hello Simone this is Jacob.”
“Simone it’s been fun but I’m back with my girlfriend. I won’t be calling you anymore.”
“Well darling whenever she’s not fulfilling your needs I’ll be here,” says Simone. “Bye.”
He calls the next one.
“Hello Maria. It’s Jacob. Jacob. It’s been fun but I’m back with my girlfriend. I won’t be calling you anymore.
“Oh Poppy there are so many things I want to do with you tonight to continue on from last night. You’re standing me up?” asks Maria. “Sorry, but yes I’m cancelling.”
Looking disappointed, Jacob hangs up the phone.
With hurt all over Samantha’s face she attempts to jump out of the truck. He grabs her arm.
“Jacob let me go!” she yells with fiery tears in her eyes as she exits the truck.
She starts walking down the street. Jacob runs after her oblivious to people taking pictures. Jacob grabs Samantha’s arm and pulls her around the corner of an office building and pins her against the wall. She has her arms folded looking off to the right.
