About the Author
Kenneth Preston was born and raised on Long Island. He studied English at the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he received his Bachelor’s degree. From literature to television to film, the myriad of tales that painted his cultural landscape inspired him to begin writing his own stories. His first novel, “The Passing of Each Perfect Moment,” was published in 2015.

About the Author
The most important thing I can tell you about myself is that my goal in life is to uplift, empower and awaken others. My personal journey is one of a continual meditative state, but I have come to realize that most people are fighting an enemy that they cannot possibly hope to defeat: themselves. I believe this internal war is at the heart of our suffering, and much of my writing will reflect the idea of ending this battle; not by force but through understanding and surrender. The greatest aspect of my life is my spirituality. I practice compassion and non judgement as a way to peace. I am completely hopeful for the future of mankind and our planet, because I realize that the growing collective consciousness cannot be reversed. If you asked me to tell you one thing that I am sure of in life; it would be that love holds the answers we all seek. So enough of the heavy stuff! I live very close to the ocean and one of my greatest passions and teachers is surfing. I have worked as a massage therapist for 16 years and hands on healing will always be a part of my life. Incidentally my wife and daughter have also both worked in the same field. My wife is my life. I’ve raised two incredible young adults, and make sure to remember to nurture all my relationships. Rarely do I go a day without listening to reggae. I believe in eating healthy whole foods, I am a vegetarian, and I know that everyone would be much happier if they just took some time to relax and breath.
