About the Author
Patrick grew up in an idyllic setting on a mountain in Wales. His love for animals, academically minded parents and a fair bit of luck all contributed to his eventually graduating from The Royal Veterinary College in 1992. He met Sue in 2003 and they were married in 2006.
They have two children and currently live in Merseyside.

One of Patrick’s earliest memories is of using a little plastic bucket to collect water, whilst trying not to disturb the dragon whose orange and black eye stared out from the rocky bed of the trickling stream…
