About the Author
A native of Barberton, Ohio, Karla Tipton earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kent State University. After graduation, she moved to the Mojave Desert in California, working at the Antelope Valley Press as a staff reporter and editor for 14 years specializing in rock journalism and historical feature writing. Tipton is currently a software tester. Her first novel, “Rings of Passage,” a time travel romance set in medieval England, features the historical figure King Richard III. As a member of the Richard III Society, Karla attended the re-burial ceremonies of the recently excavated remains of the king in Leicester, UK, in March 2015. Her second romantic fantasy, “Dangerous Reflections” includes mystery, time travel, and the occult. The novel has been named a finalist in the Fantasy category of the 2015 National Indie Excellence Awards.
