About the Author
Amanda Witt started out writing non-fiction. Her first foray into storytelling was the short story “Night Rose,” chosen by international best-selling author Jeffery Deaver for inclusion in the Mystery Writers of America anthology A Hot and Sultry Night for Crime.

Since then she has written a four-novel collection of dystopian psychological thrillers (The Red Series), taught at various universities across the U.S., homeschooled her children (now mostly grown), and managed an online graphic design Zazzle shop. She has a Ph.D. in English and has been married to her college sweetheart for just about forever.
