Becoming Moon is a coming-of-age story about a young man struggling to be himself amid pressure from a repressive family. Timothy Tuttlesmith was born in 1986 and grew up in the tranquil East Anglian countryside. He was always a solitary child and in secondary school he used to get nausea attacks when talking to girls he liked! He went to Oxford to study the sciences and liked it so much he stayed there to do a PhD. However his romantic life always came second as most of his time was spent collecting data in the lab.

After his PhD though he moved to New York and embarked on a fateful experiment; exploring the world of online dating! In his first book “So… This is Awkward.” Timothy recounts the various dating adventures that befell him during his first year in ‘The City’ and how they changed his perceptions of sexuality and human connection.
