The Portal
“An oval sphere of light opened up, the light was still red, but the humming sound had stopped. Bucky turned around and looked at Leo, barked again at the light and walked closer towards it. As soon as he touched it, it turned green and to Leo’s surprise Bucky was gone.
Leo rubbed his eyes, staring at the light. It had changed back to red. Bucky was nowhere to be seen. “What had just happened?” Leo thought to himself even more scared than before, but also overwhelmed with curiosity.
He walked towards the light, he wasn’t sure but didn’t he just hear a familiar bark?”
In “Into the Light” nine year old Leo and his bernese mountain dog Bucky embark on the adventure of their lifetime when Leo accidently opens a Portal that leads him and his friend into a very different universe.
Suddenly alone, Leo and Bucky are stuck in the middle of an ancient struggle. They have to fight droids and rock monsters, find a way back home and most importantly, help save the universe.

Haunted Tour Guide Mystery Book 1
If ever a whole town could be haunted, Devil’s Moon, Kentucky would be that town. Ripley Van Raden, or Rip as her friends call her, has come back to her hometown to start her own ghost tour business. That’s not her only career path though. Librarian by day, and ghost tour guide by night, Rip is ready to take on the ghosts following her around and the mysterious residents who show up for more than the tour in the Devil’s Moon Cemetery.
Her first day on the job as librarian, Ripley finds a dead body and a ghost who can only communicate through electronics. Who knew ghosts could send text messages? To make things even more complicated, Ripley meets a hot cop who happens to also be a ghost hunter. She doesn’t know if Brannon Landon is interested in helping her or just around for the paranormal activity.
When Rip discovers threatening notes between the pages of a novel, she must solve the library patron’s mysterious death before she unwillingly joins the other side of her haunted tour.

A magna cum laude graduate of UCLA, Cassandra Harte never took a test she couldn’t ace. So when her home pregnancy test comes back negative, she’s certain the kit’s defective.
Failure has never been an option for Cassandra. She has a well-established career, a handsome husband (Nick), and a lovely home. But there’s one thing Cassandra desperately wants that she doesn’t have: A baby. After trying for months to get pregnant without success, she starts to wonder if she’s finally met a challenge she cannot conquer.
Determined to conceive, she creates an ovulation calendar so she can seize that perfect 24-hour window. When that fails, she sends up fervent prayers.
But it soon becomes apparent that her inability to become pregnant has nothing to do with timing or faith, and everything to do with Renee, her diabolical, thirteen-year-old stepdaughter.

One Woman’s Journey from Grief to Self-Fulfillment
Grief affects us all; the only thing that’s different is how we deal with it.
In From Cornwall to the Andes, Barbara Webb describes her experiences as carer of her terminally ill husband, the subsequent handling of grief, and then the process of moving on.
This poignant memoir moves from the pain of loss to the exciting self fulilment in another culture and country. At the same time, we travel with her from beautiful Porthcurno, Cornwall to the Andes mountains as she discovers a new rhythm of life dancing tango in Buenos Aires and working as a volunteer at the exotic “Teatro Bolivar” in Quito.

Freak Show |

Johnny Freak Show is in a fix (well, several fixes really) and his friends aren’t helping. Try as he might, the teenage holy grail (i.e., the getting of the leg over); well, it just isn’t happening. Starting in school, and then over time escalating to the pub, his luck remains consistently dire. Beer helps initially of course, but in the end serves merely to deaden the pain of his perpetual disappointment. Will he ultimately prevail? Or is he destined to live the life of a reluctant Eunuch?
Accompany Johnny as he wallows through the personal minefield of ignominy that defines his existence. Experience with him the horror of involuntary erectile ‘situations’ and ginormous exploding carbuncles. See how a dastardly linguistic affliction conspires to muddy his amorous waters at the eleventh hour. Observe how he arrives at the eventual conclusion that Rock Star Demi Gods are, when all is said and done, not really all that they think they are. And, in addition to all of this also, please take on board the following;
– That folk musicians are, on the whole, not to be trusted.
– That David Bowie at Slane in 1987 was woeful. Truly woeful.
– That Citroen Diane’s are decidedly untrustworthy rust buckets.
– That if Bob Geldof is around, you’ll never need to worry about excretory mishaps. Bob Geldof has it sorted.
– That certain businessmen need to take immediate stock of their questionable attitudes.
– That you should never trust an itinerant who tries to sell you a horse.
– That being consummately good at pool is quite possibly all you’ll ever need to get on in life.
– That If you’re looking for crushing humiliation, you need look no further than The Grove in St. Paul’s.
– That older women, generally speaking, never allow gilt edged opportunities for coitus to pass.
Cryptic? Don’t worry, just download the book and all will be revealed.
Johnny Freak Show is the first of a series of three volumes that chart Johnny’s rib-ticklingly pathetic and sorry adventures in Dublin in the mid to late 1980’s. As the first in a series of three, the book covers the years between 1984 and 1988. The next instalment, which is due in early-2015, covers the next four years of Johnny’s life, which to a large degree, are spent chasing his tail somewhat similarly in London. Suffice it to say that things don’t improve much, despite the change of scenery and Johnny’s advancing years.

When identical triplets are born in 1916, newspapers from across the country cover the story, and the babies become little celebrities. Unfortunately, this small portion of fame leads to a much larger portion of parental greed, and the triplets are split up—parceled out to the highest bidders. Two of the baby girls go to live in a hilltop mansion. The third girl isn’t so lucky. She ends up with a shady family that lives in an abandoned work camp.
Identical in appearance and with the same blood in their veins, the girls should have also shared united destinies. Instead, those destinies are thrown to the wind, and the consequences are extreme—and very visible—because the girls grow up in a small town where every detail of their lives is witnessed, deliberated, and judged.
Tea Cups & Tiger Claws explores wealth and poverty, jealousy and conceit, and is ultimately a story about deadly ambition and how it once again will bind the sisters together. It’s a journey that spans fifty years, three generations, and the perilous gulf between the rich and the poor. Along the way, you’ll marvel at the opulence of a mansion where presidents are entertained, and you’ll walk cautiously through a shanty town that harbors the forgotten. So get ready for the unexpected, and let Tea Cups & Tiger Claws take you for a ride down the crooked byways of this captivating family saga.
