An inspirational memoir based upon my whole life (thus far) but it’s heavily weighted on the last 9+ years since my survival of a near-death accident in Aug 2011. I chronicle my early life, my 25 year marriage, my 30 years on Wall Street and my career as an avid age-grouper, all-distance triathlete. I competed and completed all-distances of triathlon including the Ironman at Lake Placid, NY in 2005.

About the Author
As a survivor of a near-death accident, I've demonstrated that I'm a survivor. Prior to my accident, I was a 30-year veteran on Wall Street; working as an industry analyst, covering the Electric Power sector. As part of a team, we covered 100+ electric utilities.Often, I had to make split-second trading recommendations to traders, and salespeople. I worked under pressure. On the personal side, I started as a runner. eventually running marathons. Later, I became an avid, all-distance triathlete, competing, and completing all distance triathlons, including the Ironman, in Lake Placid, NY. I later discovered that it was all of my training and racing that helped me to survive my accident. I give my thanks to God and an excellent neurosurgeon for putting back the pieces of my brain and body. Today, I thrive. I look forward to the reception that my book receives from a global audience.

Those who know me know that I am on a personal mission to have a positive and meaningful impact on a million or more people before my time in earth school is over.

I believe every leader is a teacher and to be a great teacher, one must first become a great student. I believe leadership is earned by serving, coaching, and empowering others.

My goal (for writing this book) is to ignite a new level of focus, energy, and motivation in business leaders so they can do the same for their team.

Personally: I love being outdoors, traveling, and sharing experiences with close friends. I drive a Jeep (mostly on weekends) because it’s fun. I am an Apple guy because it works. And I love a fine bottle of red because it makes me happy.

I journal—a lot! In fact, my daily commitment to quiet time has changed my life, both professionally and personally. I encourage all leaders to develop this practice.

I take my relationships and partnerships seriously. I expect the same for BSP. Those who know me—know me well. I’m in it for the long haul and pride myself in being there for others when they need me.
