Black Friday and Cyber Monday Advertising? When You Should Advertise Your Books

DON'T advertise your eBooks anywhere on
Black Friday or even Cyber Monday.
Save your money and your free days (if you
are in Select). Start advertising Print books
on Cyber Monday. eBooks I would wait until
later in December for last minute gifts and
AFTER Christmas for people to use those
wonderful gift cards they got. From December 25th
until mid January would be a good time to
advertise, particularly eBooks and Kindle
Unlimited books.
This is from observations and sales from the
past 3 years of BookGoodies advertising and
my own books (which are not fiction but still... )
Our Holiday Gift guides will be out by Cyber Monday
and promoted heavily through the holiday season
and into January, we are on top of the trends.
If you are looking for some advertising options
for December you can still book either Home Page
ads on BookGoodies on any of our sites, or you
can book ads on several sites that include
General sites and Genre specific sites by using
the Author Ad Network.

on *only* a genre specific site - this list is
for readers, so you will click the sites you
are interested in and then go check out the
advertising options. Home page ads generally
range from $10 - $35 depending on the site.
Some do not have advertising yet. I didn't
want to give you a long list in an email so
instead you can go exploring and let us know
if there is a site that you want to advertise on
that doesn't have advertising available yet.

Author Ad Network - this site gives you the
opportunity to advertise shotgun on 8 to 10
sites for $99 total. That is much lower than
you can advertise on all the sites individually
and you only have to use one form. The sites
included are listed on the link below, however
there are some bonus sites that aren't listed
yet for Kindle Unlimited, permafree, discounted
and for erotica books. Grab these ads before the
other sites are officially announced and the
price goes up.
