Reader's Survey and Book Buyer's Guides Updates

We created a survey for readers about some topics that authors are
hot about. Like whether print books are dead or if reviews are the
holy grail of getting book sales.
If you go to the survey page and fill it out, once you submit your
answers you can see the results for some of the questions. I know I
have been surprised by some results and not others. Like print
books are still the way to go, and over 2/3rds of the people buying
books look at the book sample or Look Inside the Book. And reviews
*might* not be as important as the book sample. And a lot more
people read on their computer than you think. Like me

There is a giveaway associated with the survey and we have been
getting people outside the book "industry" that just like
to read to fill it out.
Come fill it out, share with your friends so we can get a nice
overview of what readers are looking for so authors can focus on
what they do best - writing. And we can make it easier to market by
focusing on what readers really want and not what authors *think*
readers want.
Book Buyer's Guides Update
We are working hard to get the Book Buyer's Guides published! There
will be *4* Guides that will be published by next week. Thank you
to ALL the authors that are included. We have over 125 books!
The guides will be the general guide that will have ALL the books
(even if you submitted to just the Children's Book Guide) and 3
specialty guides: Children and YA, Fiction only and Romance only. We
will send a newsletter as soon as they are posted to the site.
