Books for Oklahoma Schools

a subject line which means I'm sure a lot of folks deleted it -
I know I would have. Apologies!!! - Deborah
This is a special request from me because we all know the
importance of books. My daughter is involved in an event in Moore
Oklahoma in July. Some of you may know, and others may not, that 2
elementary schools were leveled by tornados in May. Many children
died. Everything in the schools were lost.
This is the part I hope our authors can help with:
"We would also like to be able to send each teacher away with
a "Starter Kit" for their new classrooms. If you've
ever taught, are a teacher, or know a teacher, you know how
important their classrooms are to them, and these teachers all now
need to start over in a new school. We have set up an Amazon Wish
List, and I can provide everyone with an address to ship things
directly to the church for the event. If you would like me to send
you a list of the items we are looking for and the number of
teachers, I can. "
The wishlist can be found at:

In addition, I am hoping that some of you that have age appropriate
books would consider donating them to the teachers for their new
school rooms. The classes involved in this event are grades PreK
to Grade 6 plus Special Ed. So age appropriate books for ages 4 to
10 approximately.
These need to be print books, ebooks won't work unless someone
wants to pony up for ebook readers for all the kids! :) I
didn't think so :)
Here is a link where you can submit your book that you would like
to donate:

Thank you you for thinking about donating a book. Please share
with your other author friends, and share in general.
