A Word from Deb at BookGoodies

If you have been with us from the start you know how we were devastated from Hurricane Sandy and lost everything. Without our reading and writing community I think we would have lost our sanity as well.
These are tough times as no one knows exactly how bad this virus is going to be. I like to be optimistic and say that by staying home more and washing our hands and following what the CDC and World Health Organization (WHO) says we will be much better than the news has us to believe.
I am here to help you if you need it. If you have booked a book promo and need to change the dates just let me know. This goes for any of our sites in the BookGoodies Network.
Many of the stores are running out of hand sanitizer. You can make your own with isopropyl alcohol and aloe vera. You may already have this in your house. Mix it 2 parts alcohol to one part aloe to maintain it’s anti-viral properties.
It may also be a good idea to wipe down your Kindle or any other reading device you use with alcohol wipes or a good ol’ paper towel with alcohol on it.
The BookGoodies team will be working normal business hours and since our service is digital they are set up to work remotely as usual. We are working to get posts about books in front of people that are finding they have free time on their hands and that are looking for a distraction from the news. I know reading is relaxing and comforting to me, as it is to others.
Be well, and once again if there is anything I can do feel free to reach out to me by replying to this email.
Debbie
