I hope that your week has been great! I'm writing today because we have some exciting updates in the Book Goodies Network! We are going to be upgrading our hosting/servers in the next couple of weeks!!! There is a backlog on migrations, so that is all we are waiting on to get moved to faster and better servers to provide a better user experience on all of our sites.

Some quick content updates for a few of the sites:

Romance Hideaway will no longer accept Erotica submissions and will be heat levels 1-3.

Steamy Romance Books will be accepting heat levels 3-5, not just 4-5.

Book Goodies Kids is for ages 12 and under.

Teen Book Place is ages 13-18.

Ebooks Unlimited now accepts Kobo Plus in addition to Kindle Unlimited.

Book Buyer's Guides will be accepting submissions based on monthly themes. The themes are all listed and the form for June is open, but I still have some cleanup to do, so I apologize if you visit before I finish.

We are still working to revamp our forms on all of the sites to include the longer format with more link options, as well as redesigning some of the sites to better reflect the genre or purpose of the site. Forms that will be added to sites across the network will include:

You'll also notice that as we update each site, they will now have their own author newsletter, so that we can give tips specific to the genre or purpose of each site as well as updates just about the sites you're interested in.

Please note that not all forms will go on all sites, and they will all be adapted for the site they are going on. For example, Poetry Book Place also has a free poetry reading submission option for videos. 

You'll also start to notice that certain sections of some of the sites are behind an "age gate" wall. While I understand that people can easily put in the correct birthdate to bypass it, it is meant to deter kids from entering the heat levels 4 and 5 books. 

Our new server will also allow us to continue accepting Erotica and Romance submissions without fear of censorship due to their TOS. I've worked with them the last 5 years for my sites within another very censored industry, so I know their level of commitment to preventing censorship and that was a big deciding factor in moving all of our sites to them, aside from their amazing customer service.

While we are making a lot of updates, the heart and soul of the Book Goodies Network remains our dedication to helping the book community as much as possible and we hope that these changes will only increase our ability to do that by increasing reach and engagement for everyone with increased links on each form (as we update them) as well as the added forms for readers and service providers.
