Since 2011, I’ve been dedicated to helping authors share their stories and readers discover great discount books through AwesomeGang. At the same time Debbie has been building the BookGoodies Network.
Now, I’m reaching out to her wonderful author and reader community for help in a time of personal
need.
On May 1st, my wife, Debbie, was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to her liver, lungs, and other areas. Since then, Debbie has undergone surgery to remove a mass from her colon and has been in and out of the ER and hospital. We’ve been doing all we can, but an error caused her social security and Medicare applications to be declined. We’re reapplying, but the support won’t be retroactive, and in the meantime, the medical bills are piling
up.
To help us focus on Debbie’s treatment and recovery without the overwhelming burden of these expenses, we’ve set up a GoFundMe.
