She is lovely, seductive, and bright. Alex Chase has goals and dreams, and she is positive that she can achieve them. It is hard to say why, but she has an aura that attracts people. Alex’s feelings and gut reactions often prove correct, and she knows when a manuscript is fantastic. Maybe Alex has a supernatural capacity, or she might just integrate a lot of information on a subconscious level. She is manipulative scheming, unscrupulous, and calculating. Yes, what would you do to have a number one bestseller on the New York Best Seller list. How devious would you get? This is what this book provokes, it makes you think about your own scruples and morality. I love the characters, The GOOD ones and the evil ones. The book keeps driving you forward until the climax.
Alex loves to work at Madison Publications in New York. It is the hub of the publishing world. She has met the best authors and can get knowledge. She was able to draw them in like a moth to a flame.
