What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I have two loves, magic, and New Orleans. These two things definitely inspired the Huntress of the Succubi book series. The story centers around a family that has been blessed by the gods with supernatural powers to protect mankind. I infused a lot of firsthand magical references into the story line which led to deep dive into Creole history and beliefs.

How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I blend the real with the fantastical and magical which speaks towards my great love of writing paranormal romance novels and scripts. I write about things that bump in the night, sexy heroes and heroines and stories where love conquers all. And I'm all about female empowerment, so what better hero than a kick butt female.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wanted to write a story that engaged a broad audience about the issues our society faces today before it becomes worse. However, the main form of media we seem to digest is entertainment. Therefore, I wanted to structure the plot in an entertaining and informative way for the modern reader.

How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
Most of the characters either have a piece of my own philosophy embedded in them or are reminiscent of a person I've met in real life. Some are even inspired by characters I've seen in other media that really spoke to me as a person.
