FEATURED BOOK: Dia’s Lure by Catherine Peace

When Dia finally gets caught, she has to decide: flee or fight? Or…fall in love?

After years on the run, Dia Ngata’s luck has run out. Not by hunters, though, but by a reclusive bat shifter colony and the witches bound to them. The worst part? Her fellow captive happens to be Carver Kano, the ex-lover who betrayed her all those years ago.

Carver Kano admits his mistakes, and his biggest was being too late to stop the slaughter of Dia’s tribe. Ever since, the investigative journalist has focused on putting the biggest and baddest behind bars; however, he can’t escape the prison of his guilt.

When he gets captured by the bat colony, he doesn’t expect to form a friendship with the handsome bat shifter Milos or to have a chance to earn Dia’s forgiveness. Dia plans to escape as soon as possible. And Milos? He simply wants to survive.

Dia is Kano’s mate, but Milos ignites something in them both. When someone from Kano’s past threatens the colony, can the trio put their fears and mistrust aside? Or will history repeat itself once more?

The Traveler The Dead World by Tyler Kelley

TheTravelerTheDeadWorld

Kyle has spent all thirteen years of his life in the Child Teaching System of Tehrahey dealing with bullies and abusive guardians. His only comfort has been his friends; Andy, the smart girl he’s known for as long as either can remember, Jason, a grumpy kid who grew up out in the world, and Max, Andy’s old bully turned energetic friend. Life in the CTS is rough, and life on Tehrahey is even tougher. Their world is dying, and everyone knows it. The only hope is to venture into the Erima desert and search for magical relics left behind by the mysterious Traveler, a powerful hero who created their world. But can these four kids hope to succeed when generations of adults have failed?

Targeted Age Group:: 9-14+

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I had several stories all with vastly different settings and worlds, but the same core group of characters, so I needed a way to tie them all together. that solution came in the form Travelers, beings who can jump between worlds in order to protect them. Tehrahey was the perfect place to begin setting up this story.

How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
These stories started coming to me at the start of high school, and so many of the characters are inspired by people I knew, both real and fictional. That's how they started, anyway, but as I've written these stories, the characters have grown into their own personalities, making them stand out from the people who inspired them.

Avenging Love by Kevin M. Mansoor

Trinitarian Knights Collection Book One: Avenging Love

Sometimes heroes aren’t very heroic. . . Sometimes heroes fail. . .

David had always fought to protect others, even before he knew who he was. He defended those that could not defend themselves. In the eternal battle between good and evil, he balanced the scales. He saved countless. . .
but he couldn’t save her. He failed the love of his life.

After three years drunk in an alley, he still refuses to listen to the truth his heart is trying to tell him. But when. . .

the tequila no longer numbs his guilt,

can the mysterious two-thousand-year-old Emma, or the Archangel Michael, get David to wake up in time?

Join David and his battle companion Saint Bernard, Duke, as they embark on an epic tale of loss, guilt, and possible redemption. As the darkness that has settled on David’s soul slowly lifts, a battle that he cannot win awaits. Can David and Duke avenge their loss?

To do so, the very gates of hell await.

Avenging Love is the first novel of the trilogy in the Trinitarian Knights Collection. Filled with fast-paced action sequences, a strong love story sub-theme, supporting characters that will have you cheering, and a pompous prideful Satan that may just have you rolling on the floor laughing, Avenging Love is a must read.

Targeted Age Group:: 15+

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Avenging Love started as a story I told my children one night over a decade ago. That story evolved into the first book of the trilogy. The covid lock-in helped to create book two, The Deception of Fear, and the soon-to-be-released book three, Buried Within.

How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I suppose they just appeared in my head one day. There was never conscious thought about creating characters for a book or even for writing a book in the beginning,
