What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I love the world of espionage, especially with a little romance mixed in. But so many romantic suspense series are too explicit when it comes to sex and violence. I wanted to create a clean series that has all the good spy stuff, romance, and page-turning suspense. This is Book 3 of An Untapped Source series and works just fine as a stand-alone, but be sure and check out Books 1 and 2. The series is so much better if you read it in order!

How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
A spy's main goal is to be invisible. So who's better at being invisible than a mom? I've always believed if you put a mom in a mini-van in the middle of traffic, she becomes invisible-you forget her as soon as you see her. In An Untapped Source series, the CIA sees a team of mom spies as the agency's untapped source. And in Loose Ends, Book 3, the U-Tap team proves just that as they help Kate and John discover a mole inside the CIA.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The Covid pandemic afforded me time to finally put down all the thoughts and research I have conducted throughout my life as a microbiologist and a human on this planet.

From the beginning of mankind, we have wondered about the world around us and our place in it. At first, it must have been all a mystery. When empirical evidence eluded our distant ancestors, they invented myths, origin stories, and belief systems to explain phenomena beyond their grasp. Slowly, experience and inquiry led to greater knowledge and understanding. The greatest minds of our species have tried to answer the fundamental questions of our existence on earth, past, present and future.

I wanted to write 'Die Hard in an old people's home' but as I started to fill out the characters I found a bigger story involving the whole town and three generations of its inhabitants

I live in a small satellite town near London and most of the characters are people that I have known, or seen and invented histories for.
