About the Book
Grace, Bonnie’s well-meaning and loyal maid has two nemeses; Bonnie’s husband Neville and the monster mother-in-law.
Bonnie discovers Neville’s indiscretions and files for a divorce but it is imperative she keeps a secret from him until after the divorce. Grace is determined to help Bonnie at all cost and becomes an amateur private detective to glean Neville’s dirty laundry to expedite the divorce proceedings. But when things become too hot to handle for Grace she confesses to Bonnie.
Now Bonnie has to fight of the mother-in-law’s interference and demands, she also has to deal with Neville and his accusations. Grace tells Bonnie not to worry; soon they’ll pop open the champagne because she has an ace up her sleeve. But it is a secret.
There never is a dull moment in Grace’s mind as she schemes the most awful things to get rid of Neville and his mother. This light hearted comedy is set in South Africa and in some instances true to life.
