Carrie Lowrance is an Eastern transplant to the Midwest, living in Illinois for 18 years. She has always dreamed of writing and being published since childhood. She has a freelance writing certificate from Penn Foster Career School and has done some various freelancing throughout her life. Her second book of poetry, The Safety Of Objects was published earlier this year. It is a follow-up to her first book of poetry, Lithium Dreams And Melancholy Sunrise. She also writes for children as well. Her first children’s book, Don’t Eat Your Boogers (You’ll Turn Green) was published in November. When she isn’t writing she enjoys hanging out with her husband, friends and pets. She also enjoys curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee.
