She currently lives with her husband and two teenaged sons on two acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California, where she indulges in a variety of homesteading hobbies, from beekeeping and raising chickens and goats, to gardening, canning, spinning, and knitting. She’s also a novice bass player, having found that keeping the rhythm helps keep the muse coming!
She is a regular speaker on topics of consciousness and technology and available at the Brighter Brains Speaker Hub. In addition, she is a member of the advisory board for the Lifeboat Foundation and the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies, aka IEET.
