About So What’s Next!:
Molly Pearson is a young Biology teacher with two passions in her life: a strong commitment to protecting wildlife; and a desire to encourage the children in her classes to feel the same enthusiasm for Nature. When her class decide they would like to restore the school’s neglected and vandalized nature corner her hopes are raised and challenged at the same time. The hurdles that she meets along the way will include bullied and bullying pupils, as well as the expected ones of finance and willing manpower.
But leaping those fences does not prepare the ambitious Molly for a dramatic fire and the confusion of a new passion in her life, in the form of Oliver Shrimpton. Will he become that significant someone, or is he just another obstacle for her to overcome?
G J Griffiths’ second novel, in the So What! series of stories, is still based firmly around the events that take place within the “walls” of Birch Green High School. It follows some of the trials and tribulations of Molly Pearson, a previous novice teacher who was mentored by Robert Jeffrey – the main character from the first book. Molly’s efforts to spread the important message, about protecting wildlife and the natural environment, reflect something that has always been important to the author. For that reason some of the proceeds from the sales of this book will be donated to wildlife charities. Although this book is an exciting novel telling the story of schoolchildren who want to protect garden wildlife, it also contains several chapters towards the end with plenty of helpful information for lovers of nature, and who want to take a fresh look at making their garden a wildlife garden.

REVIEW FOR SO WHAT’S NEXT! FROM CHRISTIE check this out:
(4 out of 5 stars)
As with any sequel to a great novel, readers anxiously hope that the sequel is as good as the first book. With the newly released sequel to “So What!”, G.J. Griffiths is spot on. He does a phenomenal job in making the sequel stand strongly by itself and as a companion novel to his first book. A reader can easily start with the second book and not get lost in the story.
Griffiths is so descriptive in his writing that you’d think he’d been writing novels for years and years, but this is only his third novel. He does a wonderful job closing the holes of all the characters’ and their side stories, so you’re not left wondering what happened with certain people and their dilemmas. His character development is fantastic, and you get a real sense of who everyone is in the book; they really come to life.
Griffiths is a UK writer and therefore writes what he knows…life in the UK. For a US reader, such as myself, some of what he wrote, I wasn’t familiar with such as the different dialects, different slang, and the way schools are run (as is seen in the first book). Fortunately, all of that can easily be deciphered. The author writes well enough, where it’s easy to figure things out if you’re not used to it. I really appreciate the author’s way of leaving profanity blank except for the first and last letters. I quickly discovered that the profanity used in the UK doesn’t always match the profanity of the US. Parents can rest easy with letting their kids read this book.
While the writing style of Griffiths was wonderful and the storyline and characters were solid, the first half of the book is rather slow, but it picks up about halfway through with the conflict going on around the main character. I also missed the humor that accompanied the first novel. This book was more serious than the first. As a whole, the book is a nice leisurely read. Perfect for nature lovers and educators alike. You can really sense the author’s passion for bird watching and nature conservation through the main character’s similar passions. It is a love and passion the main character, Molly, and the author both share.

G J Griffiths does it again with book #2! This is a very well written book about the daily lives of teachers and of their students. It deals with peer pressure and the need to fit in. It also deals with teachers mandated reporting of suspected abuse. I actually liked this better than #1,and I loved #1. This story, although a work of fiction, is a true enactment of life as a teacher. Teachers have a very special gift that they pass on to our children and that is the need to learn. G.J. has a special gift of storytelling that will transcend time. An inspiring read that I highly recommend to all, especially to teachers. Maybe by reading stories like this we will appreciate what teachers do on a daily basis just a little bit better. Highly recommended! Great job, G.J.!

About The Greeks of Beaubien Street:
Nestled below the skyline of Detroit you’ll find Greektown, a few short blocks of colorful bliss, warm people and Greek food. In spite of growing up immersed in the safety of her family and their rich culture, Jill Zannos doesn’t fit in. A Detroit homicide detective, she manages to keep one foot planted firmly in the traditions started by her grandparents, while the other navigates the most devastated neighborhoods in the city she can’t help but love. She is a no nonsense workaholic with no girlfriends, an odd boyfriend who refuses to grow up, and an uncanny intuition, inherited from her mystic grandmother that acts as her secret weapon to crime solving success. Her story winds around tales of her family and their secret laden history, while she investigates the most despicable murder of her career. The Greeks of Beaubien Street is a modern tale of a family grounded in old world, sometimes archaic, tradition as they seek acceptance in American society. They could be any nationality, but they are Greek.

About Drum Dance:
“Birchbark canoes are made for rivers and lakes,” Per said, “not the icy waters of the Arctic. Fall out of this, you’ll freeze before you drown!”
Set in the “land of the midnight sun,” Drum Dance is filled with adventure, paranormal intrigue, and danger in Canada’s Central Arctic, where Sir John Franklin and his crew froze to death searching for the Northwest Passage. This well-researched novel cleverly interweaves just enough Arctic history, place names, and Inuit language to evoke the culture of the Far North, the traditions of Eskimo storytelling, and the hardships of Arctic living, especially during 1938 and 1939.
In the late 1930s, 17-year-old David Jansson agrees to spend two years at an isolated fur-trading post with his estranged father, Per, manager for the Hudson’s Bay Company. As the two become reacquainted, David’s favorable boyhood memories of his dad are shattered as Per, fueled by contraband whiskey and rum, becomes increasingly abusive to his son. Soon regretting his decision to resume a relationship with his dad, David foolishly risks his life—and his heart—when he forgets that the Arctic seldom gives a man a second chance! (Historical Fiction, Teens/Adults)
Review:
“Booksellers, librarians and readers are always saying they’re looking for something original to read. Well, they need look no further than Drum Dance, a refreshing YA novel with an accomplished voice and a strong sense of place.” -Lauren Baratz-Logsted, author of The Twin’s Daughter
Review:
“Billed as a young-adult, coming-of-age story, Bonnie Turner’s novel deals with some pretty mature adult themes. . . . A companion volume to Turner’s earlier children’s novel, Spirit Lights, the well-researched Drum Dance cleverly interweaves just enough Arctic history, place names, and Inuit language to evoke the culture of the north, the traditions of Eskimo storytelling, and the hardships of Arctic living, especially during 1938 and 1939. For that two-year span David pledges with his estranged father to leave the Peace River home he shares with his maternal aunt and uncle and to come live with his dad in Gjoa Haven, where Per manages the Hudson’s Bay Company trading post. Here the Netsilik stories of explorers Roald Amundsen and Sir John Franklin abound, and the festivities of the drum dances for occasions, including the arrival of the supply ship, relieve the tedium of time and the ravages of weather. As the two become reacquainted, David’s favorable boyhood memories of his dad are shattered as Per, fueled by contraband whiskey and rum, becomes increasingly abusive to his son.” (M.Wayne Cunningham, ForeWord Clarion Reviews)
Review:
“Family reunions are never what you hope for them to be. “Drum Dance” tells the story of young David Jansson, who reunites with his father after a half decade of separation. But with his father’s demons, his only comfort comes in a local girl, who wants to show David the spiritual side of Hudson bay. A story of the Canadian Arctic in the 1930s, “Drum Dance” is a fascinating novel with many angles that will prove it hard to put down.” Midwest Book Review on February 6, 2011

About The Suicide Society:
The world continues to decay in a methodical, mystifying way. Values erode, conflicts deepen, and society is desensitized to the brutal and relentless suffering of others. On both a global and personal basis, we know it’s true, but nothing can be done to stop it.
How did it come to this?
After an unsuccessful suicide attempt, Zach Randall, a self-absorbed accountant, begins to experience disturbing visions of other people in the act of taking their own lives. Initially dismissing the incidents as mere hallucinations, he slowly begins to suspect there is meaning hidden within each episode.
Struggling in the midst of the most recent punishing vision, Zach is able to see a name and address on a discarded envelop close to the latest dying wretch. After enlisting the aid of his friend and support group leader, Jarad Anston, Randall discovers that the people in his visions are real, and he is voyeur who watches their last moments on earth.
Certain that the visions are mirroring reality, Randall tries desperately to find more information as he is drawn into the grey mists of illusion, hoping that he might somehow intervene and save a doomed soul. However, there is an unexpected episodic encounter with someone—no something—that has its own horrific designs on those about to commit the final act.
A detective in Seattle, a couple street-wise cops in Chicago and Zach Randall begin to put the pieces together to reveal a conspiracy of supernatural horror that will threaten the foundation of humanity. At its source is the ultimate evil; a malevolence that defies explanation.

About the Author
James Farner is a professional writer and draws upon his love of fiction and his love of stories that span generations. His signature series Made in Yorkshire was born out of a desire to find out ‘what happened next?’
At the end of every good film, book, or TV show the characters disappear and that’s the end of them. James isn’t alone in the desire to find out what happened to the characters afterwards. This is how Made in Yorkshire appeared.
Starting from 1953 and driving on to the modern day, James explores the different eras of Britain through his colourful cast of characters.
Prior to writing fiction, he enjoyed a career as a freelance writer. His writing has appeared online, in magazines, and in a variety of other publications.
When not writing, he can be found sketching, watching sports, and playing the tin whistle.

However, the President John W. Schrubb Administration has been losing its grip on power. Murmurs and rumors of a resistance group of Apostates emanate from “Database” dens in the slums, financed by a mysterious source, are said to be scheming to free the people.
