River of Desire tells the tale of Leah Roberts, a reporter on assignment in Peru, who hires professional guide, Dylan Hart, to escort her into the Amazon jungle on the trail of a deadly disease. On the river, Leah and Dylan encounter treacherous rapids and carnivorous creatures, but what they fear most is the attraction growing between them. Their travels finally lead them to a reclusive doctor who holds the answer to the sudden appearance of the lethal viral strain.
Don’t expect the ordinary when you begin a trip down the River of Desire. So hop on board the boat and take a thrilling, sometimes life threatening, but always action-packed ride down the mighty Amazon with Leah and Dylan, who face daunting adventures, but know that love is the most amazing adventure of all.

Author Bio:
Adventure, mystery, and wild creatures all play a part in Gloria Repp’s many books for children. She grew up in the Hawaiian Islands and the Pacific Northwest, and it was there she learned a love for wilderness that pervades her stories. During the years she spent raising her three children and writing books, she also taught creative writing and worked as an editor.

The lovely pine woods, tumbled ruins, and gleaming dark streams of the Barrens have provided both inspiration and setting for her children’s series, TALES OF FRIENDSHIP BOG.

As Jane steps from the rubble of her West End home she meets Will; he offers fun, laughter and love in abundance. But will his kindness lead to a happily ever after or draw Jane into secrecy and danger?
With the Blitz of London upon them, Will teaches Jane to live for the moment and throw caution aside. He introduces her to his surrogate family, the joys of the theatre and the open road. In turn, Jane introduces him to her eclectic mix of girlfriends, life at the Grandchester hotel and the varied guests who stay there. Due to their circumstances, both soon find themselves in the middle of deception, desperation and acts of murder.
There are conflicts at every turn; loss and discovery, desperation and joy, foes and friends. And a promise is made to wait for a loved one’s return.
How long would you wait?
Author Bio:
I was born and raised in Somerset, growing up with a love of books and writing. I was always surrounded by books as a child, with a love of them inherited from my mum who taught me to read before I started school. At primary and secondary school I wrote plays, a few of which were performed there; at home I wrote stories and poems too – anything from farce to romance to mystery and often typed on an old portable manual typewriter! With the practicalities of earning a wage my writing dreams were set aside when I started work. A more important role took over when I married and then had three children; the joy, experiences and exploits of being a mum gave me plenty of things to write about, mainly surfacing as poems and stories for my children. Eighteen years spent in a job writing lots of business letters highlighted the fact that the creative writer inside me was desperate to be allowed out more often! After so long in a job which provided neither challenge nor stimulation, my husband said ‘Leave work and become a writer.’ After much soul searching and even guilt, I did. Now I have the best job in the world; being there for my family and writing when my children are at school. When I write I get lost. I can honestly say that I lose hours when I’m in writing mode; it’s my relaxation and escape. Just as reading a good book takes me to another world or time, so does writing. I can also indulge and incorporate some of my other loves, such as history, music and theatre. I decided to self publish my first novel after realising how time consuming it was trying to find an agent or publisher. When my husband suggested self publishing I hesitated at first before realising that, with the advent of eBooks and the internet, self publishing had become an accepted, popular and respectable route. I self published Family of Strangers in October 2013 and was thrilled to then be approached by Creativia who were keen to work together to publish a second edition. Creativia have now published the second edition of Family of Strangers on kindle and in paperback. Meanwhile, I work on my second book and love every minute…
