Thomas Q. Miller grew up in a small rural town in Illinois. At the age of thirteen he read his first novel, Dune, by Frank Herbert. That was the spark that ignited his passion for reading. It was the popular fantasy Dragonlance novels by Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis which cemented his love of fantasy. He grew up devouring those heroic tales of swords and sorcery and like so many others, always wanted to add a little of himself to the genre. Wiraqucha, the creator god, loves and will not destroy the people and empire he has created, so he appoints others to watch over his creations while he continues his explorations of the heavens and the earth.
