About the Book
Dominic Corisi knew instantly that Abigail Dartley was just the distraction he was looking for, especially since having her took a bit more persuading than he was used to. So when business forces him to fly to China, he decides to take her with him, but on his terms. No promises. No complications. Just sex.
Abby has always been the responsible one. She doesn’t believe in taking risks; especially when it comes to men – until she meets Dominic. He’s both infuriating and intoxicating, a heady combination. Their trip to China revives a long forgotten side of Abby, but also reveals a threat to bring down Dominic’s company. With no time to explain her actions, Abby must either influence the outcome of his latest venture and save his company or accept her role as his mistress and leave his fate to chance. Does she love him enough to risk losing him for good?

What would you do if someone you loved disappeared? What would you do if you were told they’d never existed? This most awful of nightmares comes true for Eva when her closest friend, Annie, vanishes. Even Annie’s parents deny her existence.
The uncertainty of the early months of 1939 has been eclipsed. Eva’s comfortable, normal small town life becomes despairing and desperate, until a friendly hand reaches out to her. The elderly and eccentric Lola shows no surprise at Eva’s tale. Neither does Gabe; young, handsome and distant. They have answers that lead to more questions, and information that leads to confusion. The pair guide Eva through a new and frightening world towards her beloved Annie. Eva is sure that her search has absorbed every part of her, until she realises how close she’s becoming to the mysterious but tender Gabe.
As Eva learns more about the hidden world now exposed to her, the depth of which seems infinite, she finds that people can be lost and all memory of them forsaken. Gabe and Lola are lost, just like Annie; but unlike Annie, no-one is looking for them to guide them home. Eva, now attached to Lola and deeply tied to Gabe, struggles to believe that nothing can be done to help them.
Eva’s search is littered with many things – doubt, discovery, love, belonging and a myriad of scary jigsaw pieces; lost friends, the giving of gifts, a library of books, a troubled conscience and a brilliant pianist. Can Eva piece it all together to see the picture or has she missed something? Does Eva find Annie? Will Gabe reveal his story and are his and Lola’s other lost friends a help or a hindrance?
And is there something crucially important that not one of them is telling Eva?

This novel by Cyndie Shaffstall wraps science fiction around the mystery of a near-future conspiracy.
Engineers, inventors, and business people alike scrambled to develop a solution before the world’s population was completely wiped out by an irradiated atmosphere, but the chosen solution became a temporary fix at best. By 2062, we are burdened by the weight of unchecked population growth and global warming has reduced our inhabitable space by half.
With our workplace frustratingly neutered by the Genderless Act, we came to embrace sex in trystrooms—where anything goes—and it’s all kept secret by the Privacy Act. Combined concern for humankind and the planet drives innovation, and businesses thrive in an environment where unemployment and poverty have been eliminated. The Government Reorganization and Realignment Effort enables one group of brilliant young designers to reclaim some of the ever-shrinking space—but bringing it to market exposes manipulation and corruption on a devastating, worldwide scale.

Do you love a FUNNY cozy mystery? You don’t need to be in the holiday spirit for this cozy comedy caper–it’s sure to be your next favorite beach read!
What do Santa’s Sidekick, a dead lawyer and a geriatric vampire have in common? Meet Mina Kitchen–a forty-something single who finds trouble quicker than she can whip up a batch of breakfast breads. Plural. Her catering disorder runs neck-and-neck with her weird luck, and her cat’s weirder tendency toward gnawing elf gear. Okay, and getting kidnapped a couple of times in one week is a little strange, too.
Her next door neighbor Vito’s past as ex-leader of the Moils, the Jewish-Polish Family from Bumville, New Jersey, comes to light and throws a dollop of dilemmas into an already simmering plot.
Top it all off with a counterfeiting ring, a county-wide dearth of holiday wrapping tape, and a mass of pets running loose at the local mall, and what do you have? A recipe for disaster that Mina whips to a froth.
If you’re looking for funny novels for women, packed with humor, cozy animals (in the guise of pets) — and recipes — look no further. The second book in the hilarious Mina Kitchen Comedies, Christmas Bizarre will keep you smiling when you’re not shouting up a belly laugh. It delivers a LOL tour of Lancaster, “Pee-Ay”, where you’ll discover a lively cast of characters, funny dialogue and lots of twists and turns.
Download Christmas Bizarre NOW! Chock full of delightful surprises, the mystery closes with a bonus section of free recipes, inspired by the story and vetted by Lund’s chef husband, for your own culinary creation and consumption.

Robin Wagner has had it with that silly little thing called “love.” Who needs it? Not her! ‘Being paired with a chair at the local National Childbirth Trust anti-natal classes did nothing for my ego. Unlike the other mums who were with their husbands, the only arms supporting me through the breathing exercises were wooden ones.’
My daughter’s UK childhood in the 90s was very different to my upbringing in the 60s. As neither of us knew what it was like to have our Dads at home, the book is written as a letter to my Father highlighting the moments he never got to share. It is for anyone who has been a child, if only to prove when we lose someone special, love comes from unexpected places to fill the space in our heart.
Trish Jackson, Author
This is a delightful vignette, hilarious at times, about the author’s daughter, Sophie, her early life, and the trials and tribulations of being a single Mum. It is also an open letter to the author’s absent father and in a conversational tone, it tells him about some of the experiences he missed as a father—things like changing her nappies (diapers), teaching her to ride a bike, watching her roles in school theater productions, and most of all, being a grandfather to Sophie.
Everyone who has ever raised a child will have a quiet chuckle at Sophie’s antics, like the following passage:
“As soon as we arrived, she eyed Sophie’s sticky little fingers and precariously full nappy (diaper). When I saw her apartment, all white upholstery and rugs in pale hues, I knew my daughter was in clear and present danger.”
The book is funny yet poignant because it illustrates the desperate longing a child whose father isn’t around might experience, even when she is an adult. Anyone who has grown up without a father will understand about the void in this mother’s life. She often parallels Sophie’s experiences with her own, although Sophie is luckier because her father does take her out on a regular basis, albeit to sit in the pub.
If you’re looking for some light reading that will put a smile on your face, add this story to your list.
