About the Author:
I was born in Spain and grew up mostly in Europe. My father was in the USAF, which I just love. He was a broadcast journalist in the USAF!

I went to the University of Florida- Go Gators! Hence my book GATOR GIRLS.

I work as a Financial Analyst and write on the side, but I like to believe it is the other way around because I am always writing stories in my head all day long.

I love my life and think that each day I am blessed more and more.

I do have inner demons that I unleash inside of my books.

I want to live a Norman Rockefeller type of life in Mayberry and watch re-runs of Donna Reed and I Love Lucy all day.

I love working because it gives me creativity and balance.

Finance is one of the most difficult jobs in the world because you constantly have to tell people bad news about money and basically nobody wants to hear bad news when it comes to money. They only want money to rain from the sky daily and the funnel to never turn off.

I work extremely hard and not for the money. I play extremely hard and that is why I work hard.

I LOVE DISNEY WORLD! It is absolutely my favorite place to be… I would live there if I could afford it and I pray that one day can afford it because I am moving in and I will never leave.

About the Book
Patrick MacRae had a habit of pigeonholing people, and his four daughters were no exception. Rose was the smart one; Lily, the beauty; Violet the sweet one and Daisy was his athlete. Now two years after his death, the four sisters are still trying to work themselves out of the boxes he put them in.

Rose grew up hearing people compare her to her sisters and she hated it. As soon as she finished college she moved to New York to begin a new life. Just as she’s on the verge of having everything she’s ever dreamed of her mother calls insisting that she come home. It isn’t that Rose doesn’t love her family, but she doesn’t want to go back to the place where she remembers feeling like the ‘ugly duckling’ next to her sister’s ‘beautiful swan’.

However when Rose learns that her much anticipated romantic weekend is canceled and Charles isn’t going to propose as planned, she decides that a short trip to Texas may just be ‘the ticket’. It will give her time to relax and regroup and maybe push Charles to make up his mind about their relationship.

But her trip turns out to be everything but relaxing. Rose arrives home to find things in chaos. A hunky, but arrogant, gardener has moved in with her mother and the family business is in financial ruins. If that weren’t enough, Margaret MacRae has had an accident and is in the hospital with amnesia. The sisters turn to Rose to step into her mother’s shoes and help pull the family through the storm.

About the Book
William Wright, M.D., the award winning and bestselling author of Maximum Insecurity: A Doctor in the Supermax is back with more stories about the life of a doctor – this time inside the county jail.

Dr. William Wright gave up a suburban practice as an ear surgeon to become the doctor at Colorado’s maximum-security prison. After that, running a medical clinic at the county jail should be a snap, right? Oh, brother…

Hoards of desperate people fresh from the streets, homeless addicts, illegal aliens, and gangbangers all ruled by a corrupt sheriff and his concubine sidekick made the supermax look almost pastoral.

Told with humor and biting wit by the best-selling author of Maximum Insecurity, Jailhouse Doc follows Dr. Wright and his struggles with scamming inmates, corporate bureaucrats, and a sheriff who wants to be a doctor.

Peek behind the bars at the operations of a city jail and the daily battles to deliver medical care to a population on the edge.

Book-Cover-What-Solomon-Saw-2This book is bargain priced from 01/16/2015 until 01/18/2015

Set in the American South, Chicago, New York City, and Europe, What Solomon Saw includes eleven insightful stories, some lighthearted, some heartbreaking, that explore the lives of women young and old, some strong, others fragile, all befuddled by life’s contradictions.

The title story takes its name from, Solomon, the wise old willow oak that cradles the tree house of young Martha, who finds herself reeling in the rapidly changing 1960s. In “A Whore for Thursdays,” Gina investigates what is behind her angelic husband’s shocking deathbed confession. “Girl Interrupted at Her Music” follows cellist Nora Steele into a spiral of depression after she loses her husband—and all hope for children—in the South Tower. And in “A Split in the Seam,” Tess receives unexpected visits, proving that parents continue to watch over their children—even from the afterlife.

About the Author:
Mary Dean’s first story, read aloud while carpooling to St. Leo’s Catholic Grammar School, was a sequel to Gone with the Wind. Cason’s Rhett Butler meets another woman who adores him. Scarlett sets out to kill them both. “My story met with frowns,” Cason says. “I was the only girl in North Carolina who didn’t pull for Scarlett to get Rhett back.”

Mary Dean had already blown through a series of careers before she settled down to study writing. “I was a flight attendant back in the days when we got pinched on a regular basis. I hung wallpaper at night while I was studying to be an occupational therapist. Eventually, I became a writer for pharmaceutical/healthcare ad agencies and somehow managed to raise two amazing children along the way.”

Writing stories came late, but the seeds were planted early. Growing up on the front porches of North Carolina was where Cason listened, and in time, learned to be a storyteller. In 2000, she submitted “What Solomon Saw” to Chicago Public Radio’s Stories on Stage. It ended up becoming one of six finalists and ultimately spurred her to enroll at the University of Chicago’s Writers Studio where she won the 2008 prize for fiction. Since then, she has been a featured writer at Chicago’s Story Club, cofounder of Indigan Storytellers, a workshop for oral storytelling, and creator of Wine, Women and Stories, an Indiana literary salon that raises money for a variety of arts-related causes. In addition to the Writers Studio prize, Mary Dean also won the University of Memphis Pinch Award and California’s WestSide Story Contest. Mary Dean lives along Lake Michigan with her husband. Together they have six children. She is completing her first novel.

Amazon #2 bestseller in English History.

The day of September 8th, 1888 started with the end of Annie Chapman.

What can be said or written about Annie Chapman that has not already appeared previously? That was the question Mike Covell was asked recently, and his reply was: a lot. We know of only a handful of reports and primary sources regarding her life and untimely death at the hands of a serial killer known only as “Jack the Ripper,” but there is always new material being discovered.

Annie Chapman’s life was a tragic one, with suffering and pain at almost every step. By the time she had died she had lost one child, separated from her husband, and seen him pass away. Whether we accept her as a victim of “Jack the Ripper” or not, her story deserves to be told. Her story as a wife, a mother and a victim. This is that story.
The book is also in development for a motion picture by Thunderball Films, LLC.

Author Bio:
Mike Covell is a Hull-based local historian who specialises in the darker side of his home cities’ history. Since 2006, Mike has researched, written about, blogged, tweeted, and lectured on all aspects of Hull’s history. He has lectured at the Hull History Centre, The Hull Heritage Centre, at the Ghost Club in London, and at the 2010 Jack the Ripper conference. He has assisted on and acted as historical advisor on several television shows, radio shows, podcasts, magazine articles, books, and other projects. He was the first Brit to appear on the Rippercast Podcasts and Ripper Radio and his Jack the Ripper blog has views from across the globe.

About the Author
Celeste Messer (www.celestemesser.com) is a ‘Realtor’ by day and ‘Author’ by night writing long before the sun comes up. Though born and raised in the Midwest, Celeste has spent the better part of the past three decades in Texas. Celeste enjoyed writing and all kinds of creative endeavors growing up but when it came time to choose a major in college she followed the advice of those around her and chose to get a degree that gave her the best chance of getting a job. With both an undergrad and graduate degrees in business Celeste, much like her character Margaret MacRae in the Patrick’s Garden Series (www.patricksgardenseries.com), lived the next twenty years of her life pretty much from the Left Side of her Brain. It wasn’t until she was in her mid thirties, a corporate executive, a wife and mother of four daughters, that Celeste admitted to herself that something was missing. She tried journaling to get a handle on her feelings but found the process didn’t work for her. She edited herself too much. She was afraid that if she wrote how she was really feeling and someone read it, it would lead to misunderstandings and hurt feelings. That’s when she rediscovered telling writing. The first book Celeste wrote was a non-fiction called How To Follow Your Dreams: Before Your Life Becomes a Nightmare. She said she wrote the book during her ‘detox’ phase from working fulltime in her ‘left brain’. She had virtually lost touch with her creative spirit and had no idea what she wanted to do with her life. The book was more logical that fanciful. But it helped her figure out what she wanted to do. What her lost dreams were…and they included writing. From there she began writing an eleven book series called The Adventures of Andi O’Malley written at the third grade level. Looking back at the books Celeste is the first to admit the books are ‘too sweet’ and ‘too preachy’ for the kids today, but nonetheless they served their purpose. She sees that writing the books was a necessary part of her life progression and healing. As strange as it sounds Celeste admits to finding messages and life lessons in the stories that she feels were meant for her. In the process of creating fictional characters and storylines, she was able to tap into a part of herself that she had been suppressing.
