I’m a writer from Central Finland, a software designer by day and a dad/husband/dreamer/martial artist by night.

It all began when I was eight years old. I found out that there were books of Tarzan, my childhood hero. My mother started to read them to me, but censored them – all of you who have read them know why. Annoyed by this, I started to read them on my own. Dreams and legends have followed me from those days, as companions on my voyage through life.

Only few years after that I thought about writing for the first time, but for a long time I pushed it away from my mind for supposedly more important things. Finally I understood that none of my stories would ever see the daylight until I got started, and I did.
From the days of Tarzan, exciting adventures and fantasy stories set in the past and the future have been my interest. Uvi Poznansky is a California-based author, poet and artist. Her writing and her art are tightly coupled. “I paint with my pen,” she says, “and write with my paintbrush.”
She earned her B. A. in Architecture and Town Planning from the Technion in Haifa, Israel. During her studies and in the years immediately following her graduation, she practiced with an innovative Architectural firm, taking part in the design of a large-scale project, Home for the Soldier.
At the age of 25 Uvi moved to Troy, N.Y. with her husband and two children. Before long, she received a Fellowship grant and a Teaching Assistantship from the Architecture department at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she guided teams in a variety of design projects; and where she earned her M.A. in Architecture. Then, taking a sharp turn in her education, she earned her M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
During the years she spent in advancing her career—first as an architect, and later as a software engineer, software team leader, software manager and a software consultant (with an emphasis on user interface for medical instruments devices)—she wrote and painted constantly. Lucy The Cat was published in Finnish in April 2014 and it is called “Lucy-Kissa, Lucy The Cat”. Bilingual Japanese – English version, Called Lucy The Cat was published in October 2014.
The charming and engaging Lucy The Cat series continues and the second book Lucy The Cat: Little Brother was published in September, 2014. New stories about Lucy The Cat are in process and are planned to be published late 2014/ early 2015.
Pertti’s fascinating, illustrated fairy tale book “Kissa Kiiskinen sankarina ja muita satuja” was published in March, 2014. So far it is available only in Finnish, but hopefully some day translated also in English.
His 3 first books, published in 2010-2012, belong to Christian genre and are available only in Finnish.
As an author his main influences are classical writers like Leo Tolstoy, F. Dostoyevsky and Jane Austin, but he loves also J. K. Rowling, and The Holy Bible always influences him.
Pertti’s main sources of inspiration are his 4 lovely grand children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and the charming, cute Sacred Birman cat. You guessed, she is Lucy The Cat. And of course the world events have their impact in life and sometimes also in writing.
Pertti’s favorite hobbies are music, reading, movies, photography and traveling.

Carol has owned two crafting businesses and has had the opportunity to pass on her love of crafting to many clients and friends. Carol is now passing her love of crafting to her youngest granddaughter, Alexandra.
Carol lives in Canada with husband, Bob, and two kittens, Cinnamon and Fluff. Carol has three children: Robert, Sean, and Wendy as well as four grandchildren: Victoria, Thomas, Anthony, and Alexandra. She loves having family around and no one ever leaves her home hungry.
