About the Book
Revenge is a dish best served with blood…
In Revenge is Sweet, the sequel to The Friday Edition, Samantha Church is back and the stakes are higher than ever.
In a sinister quest to settle the score, the drug dealers she thwarted are no longer motivated by money or politics, they want one thing and one thing only: Revenge…
Snow swirls on a cold February night when reporter Samantha Church and her publisher Wilson Cole Jr. are kidnapped. Days following the kidnapping, Sam wakes up in a hospital bed, dazed, bruised and confused. Why did they let her go? It makes no sense. It is only when the kidnappers make their next move does she realize why they let her go.
The kidnappers want to hurt Sam by harming those she loves most, her best friend and coworker, Wilson Cole Jr., and worse, her daughter, April. They taunt Sam, wanting to break her down mentally, physically and emotionally—pretty little April, watch her bleed, pretty little April, now we’ll have some fun. Say bye-bye, pretty little April will die before your eyes.
Revenge doesn’t come any sweeter. Or does it? Is all hope seemingly lost? Or is revenge a two-way street? Does Sam have a plan of her own for the kidnappers—one that will finally settle the score?

How is Writing In Your Genre Different from Others?
My writing is different because it is action-packed. My reviewers say there is never a dull moment, especially compared to some other novels in this genre.
What Advice Would You Give Aspiring Writers?
I advise writers to read, read, read, and write, write, write, because that is the only way to improve your writing. Also, once your writing has gotten to a level you feel good about, go to writer’s conferences. That way, you can get your work out there in the industry.
What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
I wrote this because I adore inspirational historical romance. It is my favorite genre to read, so I decided to write in it myself. I decided to write about a young lady who is running away from her abusive fiance–a topic that is really brought up a lot the past few weeks, considering the Ray Rice issue.
About the Author:

She lives in Kansas City, Missouri where she attends high school, acts in community theatre, eats donuts, and reads every Inspirational Historical Romance she can get her hands on.

An uplifting and moving story of an urbanite couple’s move to an unexpectedly quirky country hamlet.
Tom falls off his mountain bike three days before buying their cottage, leaving a pregnant Lois and her close friend to collect the keys. The horrors that greet them have Lois sick with worry that she should never have persuaded Tom to leave London. But as they settle into their new community, Lois uncovers a wonderfully eclectic mix of friends, enemies, crooks and eccentrics whose strength of character astound her.
Lois and Tom’s rapid series of major life events culminates in high drama, with their wedding and the birth of the baby in very quick succession and a melodramatic twist, as uninvited guests arrive at the home delivery.
About the Author
Born in Scotland, the youngest of four, I spent the majority of my childhood living in Buckinghamshire. Following secondary education at Slough High School, I trained as a nurse in Oxford, later specialising in the care of older people. I have always thrived on meeting interesting and unusual individuals, and have gained a wealthy mental portfolio of remarkable characters, particularly as a community nurse, who have helped to underpin my imaginative writing.
I now live in The Chilterns with my husband, three fast maturing children, two dogs, a cat, a horse and occasionally eight or so black Labrador puppies.
The Unorthodox Arrival of Pumpkin Allan is my first novel, with a sequel on the way. My enjoyment of the countryside, together with my interest in human idiosyncrasies and love of humour, has enabled me to paint a colourful picture of life in a rather special, rural English hamlet.
